The Olympic Mountains
In the heart of the Olympic Mountains are more than 60 active glaciers. Along steep
valleys cedars, firs and hemlocks grow to enormous size in the virgin forests. Summer
wildflowers paint alpine meadows, and bear, deer and elk roam the interior.
