Salt Bush

Saltbush was used as medecine for
colds. Flowers, leaves and stems were
crushed and then steamed. Sinus
congestion was relieved by inhaling the
vapors. The Cahuillas also chewed
saltbush leaves for treatment of other cold
symptoms.
