Desert Discovery Trail
You are in the midst of the Sonoran Desert, green
with strangely shaped plants and teeming with
the ceaseless activities of insects, birds, and
mammals - all dependent on each other to win the
daily battle for survival.
Discover for yourself the secrets of the desert and
see many of the links composing the chain of life
as you explore this half-mile, level, loop trail. The
National Park Service encourages you to take your
time as you savor the sights, smells and sounds of
this unique desert community.
